Tuesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: REZ

The iShares Residential Real Estate Capped ETF ( REZ ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 222,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 35,000. Shares of REZ were up about 1.2% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were HCP ( HCP ), trading up about 1.8% with over 2.2 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Equity Residential ( EQR ), up about 0.2% on volume of over 1.7 million shares. Aviv REIT ( AVIV ) is the component faring the best Tuesday, higher by about 3.1% on the day, while Physicians Realty Trust ( DOC ) is lagging other components of the iShares Residential Real Estate Capped ETF, trading lower by about 1.1%.
