Tuesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: PXI

The PowerShares DWA Energy Momentum Portfolio ETF ( PXI ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 61,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 25,000. Shares of PXI were up about 1.7% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Penn Virginia ( PVA ), trading up about 15.2% with over 5.9 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Chesapeake Energy ( CHK ), up about 1% on volume of over 4.1 million shares. Era Group ( ERA ) is lagging other components of the PowerShares DWA Energy Momentum Portfolio ETF Tuesday, trading lower by about 2.4%.
