Tuesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: PBD

The PowerShares Global Clean Energy Portfolio ETF ( PBD ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 169,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 70,000. Shares of PBD were down about 0.5% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Plug Power ( PLUG ), trading up about 1.4% with over 8.8 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Yingli Green Energy Holding ( YGE ), off about 5.7% on volume of over 6.9 million shares. Direxion Daily Emerging Markets ( EDC ) is the component faring the best Tuesday, up by about 1.6% on the day, while Hydrogenics ( HYGS ) is lagging other components of the PowerShares Global Clean Energy Portfolio ETF, trading lower by about 8.2%.
