The TSX is up 13 points this morning on mixed sectors. Energy is the biggest loser so far, shedding 0.46% as oil prices weigh. Crude oil is now at US$48.31 as investors register concerns over rising US oil output.

The biggest gainer this morning is the telecom sector, adding 0.58%.

Canadian wholesale trade in January rose 3.3%, Statistics Canada reported on Monday. The increase was boosted by stronger auto sales. Sales were also up in four of the seven subsectors, representing 55% of total wholesale trade.
