TSX Unchanged at 10 am With Info Tech Posting The Biggest Gains; Healthcare, Miners Drag

The TSX is unchanged at 10 am on mixed sectors. Info tech is the biggest gainer, up 0.34%, followed by utilities, up 0.23%.

The biggest losers so far are healthcare (-0.30%) and miners (-0.28%).

The Consumer Price Index ( CPI ) rose 1.6% on a year-over-year basis in March, following a 2.0% gain in February, Statistics Canada reported. Analysts expected a 1.8% increase. Excluding food and energy, the CPI was up 1.7% year over year in March, after posting a 2.0% increase in February.

Crude oil is down 0.45% to US$50.48.
