TSX at 3PM: Adding Another 120-Plus Pts In Losses To 200 Pts Lost Monday; Metals and Mining Biggest Loser

By Midnight Trader May 15, 2012, 03:02:01 PM EDT

Canada's main stock market is down another 120-plus points at session lows late Tuesday, adding to the 200-plus points lost yesterday.

The index has hit a seven-month low with metals and mining stocks down 2.3% and leading the fall today amid concerns about the economic outlook for Greece and the rest of the European Monetary Union.

These concerns have overshadowed what was better than expected growth in Germany's gross domestic product in the first quarter, and strong Canadian home sales data.
