Trucking company Transport America files for a $75 million IPO

Transport America, a provider of truckload transportation and logistics to shippers in the US and Mexico, filed on Tuesday with the SEC to raise up to $75 million in an initial public offering. The Eagan, MN-based company, which was founded in 2005 and booked $353 million in sales for the 12 months ended September 30, 2013, plans to list on the NASDAQ under the symbol TRAM. Baird and Stifel are the joint bookrunners on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
