TransCanada Corporation Up 1% amid reports it Plans Early 2011 Start of Keystone Cushing Extension

TransCanada Corporation (TRP.TO) is up 1% and moving toward an existing year high of $38.88 amid reports it expects the Cushing Extension of the Keystone system to be in service in the first quarter next year.

"We are about 80% complete on the pipeline and about 75% complete on facilities," Ken Murchie, a director of pipeline development, said today at the Platts Pipeline Development and Expansion conference in Houston, according to a Bloomberg report. "We are looking at having construction completed this year."
