Toyota Reveals Executive Changes Across North And South America - Quick Facts

(RTTNews.com) - Toyota Motor North America, Inc. or TMA (TM, TYT.L) unveiled executive changes across Toyota's North and South American affiliate companies, effective as of April 1. These appointments are intended to give greater autonomy and more local control to regional executives and managers so they can provide superior customer-focused products and services.

The company said James (Jim) Lentz, currently president and CEO of Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. or TMS, senior vice president of TMA and managing officer of Toyota Motor Corp. or TMC, is named senior managing officer of TMC, chief executive North America Region, and president and chief operating officer of TMA.

Kazuo Ohara, managing officer, TMC and executive vice president, Lexus International, would serve as chief executive and president of TMS, responsibile for Toyota'sNorth America sales, service and marketing operations, reporting to Lentz.

In addition, the company announced the appointment of Steve St. Angelo as the chief executive officer of Latin America and Caribbean Region. Mark Templin, group vice president and general manager - Lexus Division, TMS, and general manager, Lexus Product Marketing Planning Division, TMC, is named managing officer and executive vice president of Lexus International.
