HIGHER:


  • Cimatron Limited ( CIMT ) 61.8% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.10, versus a loss of $0.06 reported for the same period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter was $8.7 million, compared to $7.2 million in Q309.

  • NetSol Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: NTWK) 18.2% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.04, versus ($0.01) reported for the same period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter was $8.4 million, compared to $7.6 million in Q309.

  • Pegasystems Inc. (Nasdaq: PEGA) 14% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.27, ex-items, 1 cent better than the consensus of $0.26. Revenue for the quarter came in at $90 million, compared to the consensus of $90.44 million.

  • Tesla Motors (Nasdaq: TSLA) 12% HIGHER; reports Q3 adj-loss of $0.37, 6 cents better than the consensus of ($0.43). Revenue for the quarter came in at $31.2 million, compared to the consensus of $28.10 million.

  • Medidata Solutions (Nasdaq: MDSO) 11% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.29, ex-items, vs. the consensus of $0.18. Revenue for the quarter came in at $41.1 million, compared to the consensus of $41.10 million. Sees Q4 adj-income of $10-$11 million, sales of $43-$44 million, vs. the consensus of $44.33 million. Raises its FY10 adj-income outlook from $31-$33 million to $35-$36 million. Sales are expected to be about $162-$163 million, versus the consensus of $163.35 million.


LOWER:

  • Smart Technologies Inc. ( SMT ) 28.5% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of C$0.33, vs. the consensus of $0.24. Revenue for the quarter came in at C$222.7 million, compared to the consensus of $233.84 million. Cuts its FY11 sales guidance from $850-$885 million to $770-$805 million. The stock was also downgraded at BofA and RBC Capital.

  • Industrial Services of America (Nasdaq: IDSA) 20% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.28, versus $0.37 reported for the same period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter was $76.6 million, compared to $80.0 million in Q309.

  • China Agritech Inc. (Nasdaq: CAGC) 19% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.09, versus the consensus of $0.33. Revenue for the quarter came in at $23.89 million, compared to the consensus of $37.31 million.

  • Maidenform Brands ( MFB ) 13% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.55, 2 cents better than the consensus of $0.53. Revenue for the quarter came in at $145.8 million, compared to the consensus of $146.86 million. Sees Q4 sales up mid-upper single digit range. EPS are expected to be 25-29c, vs. the consensus of 28c. Raises its FY10 EPS guidance from $1.88-$1.93 to $1.90-$1.94, vs. the consensus of $1.92.

  • A123 Systems (Nasdaq: AONE) 12% LOWER; reports Q3 loss of $0.42, 12 cents worse than the consensus of ($0.30). The company reported a loss of $1.78 during the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $26.2 million, compared to the consensus of $25.92 million.
