HIGHER:


  • Highway Holdings Limited (Nasdaq: HIHO) 49% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.11, versus $0.04 reported for the same period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter was $7.83 million, compared to $5.21 million in Q209.

  • Cobra Electronics Corp. (Nasdaq: COBR) 20% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.14, versus $0.08 reported for the same period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter was $28.91 million, compared to $27.41 million in Q309.

  • TravelCenters of America ( TA ) 20% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.26, which may not compare to the analyst estimate of $0.43. Revenue for the quarter was $1.51 billion, which compares to the estimate of $1.52 billion.

  • Louisiana-Pacific ( LPX ) 11% HIGHER; reports Q3 adjusted loss of $0.09, even with the analyst estimate of ($0.09). Revenue for the quarter was $323 million, which compares to the estimate of $337.76 million.

  • Xenoport, Inc. (Nasdaq: XNPT) 9% HIGHER; reports Q3 loss of $0.65, even with the consensus of ($0.65). Revenue for the quarter came in at $389,000, compared to the consensus of $680,000.


LOWER:

  • LMI Aerospace (Nasdaq: LMIA) 12% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.23, versus the analyst estimate of $0.31. Revenue for the quarter was $52.3 million, which compares to the estimate of $58.61 million. Sees FY10 revs of $224 million, versus the consensus of $236.25 million.

  • Warner Chilcott (Nasdaq: WCRX) 11% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.86, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.85. Revenue for the quarter was $703.2 million, which compares to the estimate of $750.15 million. Increases FY10 EPS from $3.25 - $3.35 to $3.35 - $3.45. Lowers FY10 revs from $2.90 - $2.95 billion to $2.80 -$2.85 billion. Consensus sees an EPS of $3.43 and revs of $3.01 billion.

  • Republic Airways (Nasdaq: RJET) 11% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.62, in line with the analyst estimate of $0.62. Revenue for the quarter was $711.9 million, which compares to the estimate of $713.73 million.

  • General Steel ( GSI ) 10% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.04, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.02. Revenue for the quarter was $460.3 million, which compares to the estimate of $547.55 million.

  • Comverge (Nasdaq: COMV) 9% LOWER; reports Q3 adj-EPS of $0.01, 1 cent lower than the analyst estimate of $0.02. Revenue for the quarter was $51.7 million, which compares to the estimate of $56.39 million. Sees FY10 sales of $118-$125 million, vs. the consensus of $47.84 million. The company had previously guided FY10 sales to $125-$137 million.
