Thursday's ETF with Unusual Volume: IAT

The iShares U.S. Regional Banks ETF ( IAT ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 554,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 132,000. Shares of IAT were up about 1.2% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Keycorp ( KEY ), trading up about 1.5% with over 10.5 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Regions Financial ( RF ), up about 1.7% on volume of over 8.3 million shares. National Penn Bancshares ( NPBC ) is the component faring the best Thursday, higher by about 4% on the day, while Popular ( BPOP ) is lagging other components of the iShares U.S. Regional Banks ETF, trading lower by about 0.9%.
