Thursday's ETF Movers: KRE, XLU

In trading on Thursday, the SPDR S&P Regional Banking ETF ( KRE ) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 1.4% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Western Alliance Bancorp ( WAL ), up about 2.8% and shares of East West Bancorp ( EWBC ), up about 2.8% on the day.

And underperforming other ETFs today is the Utilities Select Sector SPDR Fund ETF ( XLU ), down about 1.1% in Thursday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Thursday were shares of Public Service Enterprise Group ( PEG ), lower by about 2.2%, and shares of Teco Energy (TE), lower by about 1.9% on the day.
