Thompson Creek Metals Company ( TC ) dumped 11% this morning, trading down at $4.90 and setting a new yr low, after posting decreases in Q1 revs and earnings.

Revenues for Q1 2012 was $113.6 million compared to $206.7 million in the first quarter last year. Analysts estimated revenues of $106.60 million for the quarter.

Adjusted net income for Q1 2012 was $0.01 per share, compared to $0.36 per share last year. On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected loss of $0.05 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.
