The Stock Decline Deepens

(New York)

Is the bottom about to fall out of stocks? No one can be sure, but the market is looking increasingly shaky. The S&P 500 is on a three-day losing streak, the first since August, and already today Europe and Asia were down. Gold and bonds rallied on the outbreak of bearish sentiment. There are no obvious catalysts for the losses, but analysts say that with valuations so high, investors are prone to be nervous.

FINSUM : So the losses have not been too big yet, granted, but what worries us here is the lack of an obvious reason for the decline. Maybe this is a sign that sentiment is finally coming back down to earth.
