Sponsorship to cover 2014 and 2016 U.S. Olympic and Paralympic
Teams
OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
TD Ameritrade Holding Corporation (NYSE:AMTD) and the United States
Olympic Committee are pleased to announce that TD Ameritrade has renewed
its sponsorship of the USOC and the 2014 and 2016 U.S. Olympic and
Paralympic Teams.
TD Ameritrade was the first-ever USOC partner in the online broker
category for the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team. Going forward, the company has
broadened its commitment to the country's top athletes to include the
2014 and 2016 U.S. Paralympic Teams and the 2015 U.S. Pan and Parapan
American Teams. The company has also expanded its sponsorship category
to include not only online brokerage, but personal investing and wealth
management as well, representing the full line-up of investment products
and services it offers to today's individual investors.
"Following a successful partnership with the USOC in 2012, we wanted to
evolve it to include areas of our business, such as personal investing
and wealth management, that are growing in importance for Americans,"
said Fred Tomczyk, president and chief executive officer of TD
Ameritrade. "Our theme, ‘It's amazing how far you can go with a little
help along the way,' is a powerful message that speaks to all of us,
whether you are an athlete going for the gold or an individual investor
planning your financial future. We look forward to sharing more of those
inspirational stories with our clients, associates and fans across the
country over the next three years."
"TD Ameritrade's support of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Teams helps
enable our athletes to pursue their dreams, a premise reinforced by TD
Ameritrade's core principles," said USOC Chief Executive Officer Scott
Blackmun. "Our continued partnership through 2016 will provide
significant resources to support America's top athletes, while providing
the distinctive value of investing in the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic
Teams. We look forward to working with TD Ameritrade in supporting and
promoting the U.S. Olympic Movement in the years ahead."
The renewal discussions between the USOC and TD Ameritrade once again
included a cooperative, coordinated process with NBC Olympics Inquiries

sponsorship can be directed to Dedra DeLilli, director of social media
marketing, client communications and corporate sponsorships at the
company.
