Syntroleum Files Second Patent Claim Against Neste Oil; Shares Rise 3%

Syntroleum Corporation ( SYNM ) filed suit against Neste Oil Singapore Pte Ltd with the High Court of Singapore. SYNM says Neste Oil is violating its Singapore Patent No. 169053 entitled "Hydrocracking Process For Biological Feedstocks and Hydrocarbons Produced Therefrom." Syntroleum's patent was issued on May 31 and expires on August 21, 2028.

It is the second time that Syntroleum has challenged Neste Oil in a patent dispute.

SYNM shares are up 3.3% at $7.00. SYNM has a day range of $6.61 - $7.10, with a 52-week spread of $3.30 - $8.90.
