Symantec president buys 100,000 shares

Bobby Raines 10/31/2013

Stephen Bennett, the president and CEO of Symantec Corp. ( SYMC ) , bought 100,000 shares of the comapny's common stock on Oct. 28. At $22.06 per share, Bennett paid a total of $2,205,780 to increase his indirect holdings by 25.8%.

IK-> The technicals for SYMC ($22.50 up $0.13) are bearish with an upward trend. Recent support has been around $20.93 and recent resistance has been around $25.56. Standard & Poor's has a four STARs (out of five) rating on the stock. Look at the Jan. 19/21 bull-put spread for a 22-cent credit. That's a 12.36% return and the stock has to fall 6.7% to cause a problem.  [InvestorsKeyhole, Various news and data services]
