Suburban Propane Q3 Net Loss Widens - Quick Facts

(RTTNews.com) - New Jersey-based Suburban Propane Partners, L.P. ( SPH ) Thursday reported third-quarter loss which widened, amid modest revenue growth, higher wholesale product costs and a debt extinguishment charge

For the three months to June, net loss widened to $58.99 million or $0.98 per share, from $45.19 million or $0.77 per share a year ago.

On average, nine analysts polled by Thomson-Reuters estimated the company's loss to be $0.57 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Adjusted EBITDA totaled $10 million, compared with $19.2 million a year earlier.

Quarterly revenues increased to $297.14 million from $290.8 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $332.05 million.
