Sinopec to Buy Chesapeake Energy Assets for $1.05 Billion-Bloomberg

China Petroleum & Chemical Corp. (0386.HK), or Sinopec, is to pay $1.02 billion to buy 50% of Chesapeake Energy Corp.'s ( CHK ) Mississippi Lime assets, Bloomberg reported Monday. The Oaklahoma assets produce 46,000 barrels of oil a day, according to an email from unit Sinopec International Petroleum Exploration & Production Corp.
