action we say yesterday morning in a bullish roll-out . It
looks like an
investor sold to open the February 16 calls, collecting
$5.30 per contract, and bought the January 12.5 calls for $9
. WMB is scheduled to announce earnings on Feb. 18 before the
market opens, and analysts estimate earnings of 33 cents a share.
The company did not announce any other significant news, and the
stock is currently up five cents to $21.20 per share.
American International Group (NYSE: AIG )

out of the gate this morning, as the February 29 calls crossed more
than 8,300. The largest block of the February 29 calls traded at
10:12 a.m. EST at the ask price of $1.41 per contract. AIG
stock was trading around $28.20 a share. As people were
reaching for these calls, a veritable frenzy was taking
place. By 11:30 a.m. EST the stock reverted down to
$27.60 a share, but the calls had fallen by an almost equal amount
back down to 95 cents, indicating that implied volatility slid
after the frenzy faded a bit.
