Sidewinder Update: Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL)

An investor bought the Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL ) January 25-30 call spread 5,000 times at 10:03 a.m. EST and paid a net debit of $1.22 per bull call spread. The investor bought the 25-strike calls for $1.68 and sold the 30-strike calls for 46 cents. This is a moderately bullish strategy. ORCL did not announce any news this morning, and has not released an official earnings date. The market expects the quarterly report around March 17.
