Financial shares are mixed this morning as investors absorb comments from the Federal Reserve yesterday as it delayed tapering its bond-buying program while leaving investors still wondering about the precise timing of the scaleback.

In financial stocks news, GAIN Capital Holdings ( GCAP ) reports net revenue of $60.6 million, up 52% from $40.0 million last year. Adjusted net income was $5.1 million, or $0.13 per diluted share.

Those results beat the Street consensus of $0.09 per share on $50.0 million in revenue.

The company also declared a $0.05 per share quarterly cash dividend, payable on December 20, 2013 to all holders of common stock as of December 12, 2013.

And, Fortress ( FIG ) is steady pre-market at $8.59 as it reports Q2 pre-tax earnings of $0.13 per share, up from $0.12 per share a year prior.

The company also declared a quarterly dividend of $0.06 per share.
