for November delivery finished down 2.5% to $75.67 a barrel. In

) is up 0.56% to $8.92. In late-session energy news, shares of
Forest Oil Corp. (
) are higher as the company is reportedly upgraded to Buy from Hold
a Canaccord. Meanwhile, shares of NRG Energy (
) are firmly lower after the company said late Monday it now
expected full-year earnings of between $1.78 billion to $1.85
billion, down from forecasts for between $1.9 billion and $2.0
