Sector Update: Energy Shares Flat to Lower as Crude Futures Dip

Energy shares are flat to lower in pre-market, while crude oil futures is lower.

Light crude oil for November delivery is trading down $0.05 at $103.44 a barrel. In other energy futures, heating oil is down $0.01 at $3.03 a gallon while natural gas is down $0.02 at $3.70 per million British thermal units.

In energy ETFs, the United States Oil Fund ( USO ) is down 0.16% at $37.25. The United States Natural Gas ETF ( UNG ) is down 0.31% at $19.04.

In other energy news, Suntech Power ( STP ) is up 12% in pre-market trade as the Financial Times reports two Chinese Companies made tender bids in bankruptcy proceedings.
