Sector Update: Energy Shares Flat; Crude Futures Dip Toward $103 Per Barrel

Energy shares are flat to lower in pre-market, while crude oil futures are lower.

Light, sweet crude oil for November delivery is trading down $0.28 at $103.82 a barrel. In other energy futures, heating oil is up $0.01 at $3.01 a gallon while natural gas is flat at $3.54 per million British thermal units.

In energy ETFs, the United States Oil Fund ( USO ) is down -0.16% at $37.42 The United States Natural Gas ETF ( UNG ) is down 0.11% at $18.20.

In other energy news, Clean Energy Fuels Corp. ( CLNE ), provider of natural gas for transportation, will be the first company to commercially distribute a renewable natural gas vehicle fuel, called Redeem, made from waste streams such as landfills, large dairies and sewage plants directly to fleets around the country and at the 35 public Clean Energy stations throughout California.

CLNE is down 4.6% at $13.16 in pre-market trade.
