Scudder Strategic Municiple Income Trust (KSM) Ex-Dividend Date Scheduled for January 17, 2013

Scudder Strategic Municiple Income Trust ( KSM ) will begin trading ex-dividend on January 17, 2013. A cash dividend payment of $0.077 per share is scheduled to be paid on January 31, 2013. Shareholders who purchased KSM stock prior to the ex-dividend date are eligible for the cash dividend payment. This marks the 11th quarter that KSM has paid the same dividend.

The previous trading day's last sale of KSM was $15.27, representing a -6.83% decrease from the 52 week high of $16.39 and a 14.3% increase over the 52 week low of $13.36.
