Roger Krone To Become Leidos CEO, Succeeding John Jumper - Quick Facts

(RTTNews.com) - Leidos Holdings, Inc. ( LDOS ), a provider of science and technology solutions, has named Roger Krone as its Chief executive, effective July 14, succeeding John Jumper, who had informed his retirement and planned transition earlier. Presently, Krone is the President of Network and Space Systems for The Boeing Co. ( BA ). Meanwhile, Jumper will continue as Chairman of the Leidos Board.

With over 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry, Krone has held senior program management and finance roles at Boeing, McDonnell Douglas Corp. and General Dynamics. Before the formation of Network and Space Systems, Krone was Vice President and General Manager of Boeing's Army Systems division, where he was responsible for military aircraft programs such as the AH-64D Apache Longbow and the CH- 47 Chinook.
