Rexx Energy Announces $250 Mln Senior Notes Offering; Shares Edge Up in After-Hours Session

Rex Energy Corporation ( REXX ) intends to offer $250 million in aggregate principal amount of senior notes due 2020 (in a private placement, subject to market conditions.

The company says it will use the net proceeds from the offering of the senior notes to repay all of the borrowings outstanding under its revolving credit facility and to repay in full, and terminate, its second lien term loan facility.

REXX shares are up 0.2% to $12.15 in after-hours trading, and are within a 52-week range of $8.80 - $17.25.
