Revlon Q2 Earnings Down, Despite Higher Revenues

(RTTNews.com) - Revlon Inc. ( REV ) reported lower earnings for the second-quarter, reflecting higher SG&A expenses. The company's net earnings was down at $18.1 million or $0.34 per share compared to $24.7 million or $0.47 per share last year.

Quarterly sales climbed to $497.9 million from $344.7 million last year.

The company reported SG&A expenses of $263.6 million, greater than $156.3 million a year ago.
