Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani To Quit BofA Board

(RTTNews.com) - Bank of America Corp. ( BAC ) said Friday that Mukesh Ambani has decided not to seek another term on the company's board of directors at its 2013 annual meeting of shareholders.

Ambani, chairman and managing director of India'sReliance Industries Ltd., has served on the Bank of America board of directors since March 2011.

Ambani will join the Bank of America Global Advisory Council in May, the Charlotte, North Carolina-based company said.

The council, chaired by Bank of America Chief Executive Officer Brian Moynihan, is a non-fiduciary body that shares expertise and insights on the bank's global engagement.
