PetroQuest Q2 2012 Loss Dips; Updates Full Year 2012 Guidance

PetroQuest Energy, Inc. ( PQ ) reported net loss of $54.5 million or $0.87 per share, compared to last year's net loss of $3 million or $0.05 per share.

Production for the second quarter of 2012 was 8.4 Bcfe, compared to 7.4 Bcfe for the comparable period of 2011.

The company has also updated its guidance for full year 2012: production volumes (MMcfe/d) of 92 - 97, capital expenditures of $110 - $115 million, lease operating expenses (per Mcfe) of $1.10 - $1.15, and Production taxes (per Mcfe) of $0.04 - $0.06.
