China ( FXI , quote ) in an attempt to stop speculation against its currency continues to flood the tape with confusing headlines.

china_ball At this point there is no expectation they will change course or change tactics on how they communicate their policy action.

While we are concerned about the change in approach because no policy changes in China are not easy. We do think this is a positive for the economy and a path to reform.

We remain concerned about the data from China and the impact of a credit crunch on physical commodity prices.
