Pan American Silver Earnings Slip in Q3 2012 Despite "Record" Revenues

Pan American Silver Corp. ( PAAS ) reported third quarter 2012 adjusted net earnings of $37.6 million, or $0.25 per share, on record revenues of $251.8 million.

In the same period last year, adjusted net earnings were $51.5 million, or $0.48 per share, on revenues of $31.3 million.

The company has also produced 6.3 million ounces of silver and 28,162 ounces of gold during the third quarter of 2012, an increase of 13% and 36%, respectively, as compared to the same quarter of 2011.

PAAS lost 3% in the after-hours market, reaching $20.70.
