Orbite Up 10% as Produces First Aluminum From Cap-Chat Alumina

Orbite V.S.P.A. Inc. (ORT-A.V) is up 34 cents or nearly 10% at $3.99, but is off a day high $4.32, with around 4.4 million shares traded after announcing that it has produced its first samples of aluminum. It said in a statement this was "conclusively demonstrating the viability of its entire value-added chain — from clay to metallurgical aluminum."

It said the samples were manufactured using Cap-Chat Smelter Grade Alumina ( SGA ), which is designed to meet current industry standards for purity and particle size (granulometry). The quality of the metallurgical alumina (or SGA) was ultimately confirmed by an independent, world-class research facility in Canada through electrolysis smelting into aluminum.
