Oil Futures End Lower as Demand Concerns Weigh: Report

By Midnight Trader October 10, 2012, 03:07:34 PM EDT

Oil futures closed 1.2% lower Wednesday, giving back part of the more than 3% gain they saw in the previous session, MarketWatch reported.

Prices were weighed down by concerns over global demand ahead of data that are expected to show a climb in last week's U.S. crude supplies. November crude fell $1.14 to $91.25 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

The American Petroleum Institute will issue its supply data later Wednesday, a day late due to Monday's holiday, while the Energy Information Administration will issue its report Thursday.
