Ocean Rig Slips To Loss In Q4

(RTTNews.com) - Ocean Rig UDW Inc. ( ORIG ) Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net loss of $71.0 million or $0.54 per share, compared to net income of $36.5 million or $0.28 per share in the same period last year.

On average, ten analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.34 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues from drilling contracts totaled $229.75 million, down from $237.66 million in the comparable quarter last year, while ten analysts expected revenues of $232.90 million.
