Occidential director buys 5,000 shares

William Klesse, who sits on the board of directors at Occidental Petroleum ( OXY ) , bought 5,000 shares of the company's common stock on March 25. At $94.70 per share, Klesse paid a total of $473,520 for the new shares.

IK-> The technicals for OXY ($94.27 up $0.73) are bullish with a neutral trend. Recent support has been around $92.93 and recent resistance has been near $97.26. Standard & Poor's has a four STARs (out of five) rating on the stock. Look at the May 85/87.50 bull-put spread for a 22-cent credit.
