Ted Collins Jr., a member of the board of directors at Oasis Petroleum ( OAS ) , bought 2,000 shares of the company's common stock on June 26. At $53.39 per share, Collins paid a total of $106,780.

IK-> The technicals for OAS ($54.57 up $1.40) are bullish with an upward trend. Recent support has been around $51.69 and the stock is above recent resistance. Standard & Poor's does not folow the stock. Look at the Aug. 46/49 bull-put spread for a 25-cent credit. That's a 9.1% return and the stock has to fall 10.2% to cause a problem.  [InvestorsKeyhole, Various news and data services]
