Nucor Corp. Bottom Line Climbs 308% In Q1

( - Nucor Corp. ( NUE ) revealed earnings for its first quarter that climbed from last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $356.90 million, or $1.11 per share. This was higher than $87.57 million, or $0.27 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 29.6% to $4.82 billion. This was up from $3.72 billion last year.
