NovaCopper Updates Exploration Diamond Drilling Results in Alaska; Shares Jump 5%

NovaCopper Inc. ( NCQ ) is up 5% at $2.25, but off a day's high of $2.36, after it announced results from exploration diamond drilling at its Upper Kobuk Mineral Projects in Northwest Alaska.

This is the first set of drill results, comprising six out of 22 holes, which total approximately 15,000 meters drilled so far from the 2012 drilling program. Additional drill results are anticipated to be released regularly over the next few months as they become available.

NCQ trades in a 52-week range of $1.65 - $4.76. Shares have fallen 40% in the last 12 months.
