Noteworthy option trades in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with unusual option activity on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.


Amarin (AMRN): Some 4,800 September 3 calls were purchased, mostly for $0.10, as investors position for the drug maker to rebound last year's massive selloff. AMRN rose 2.75 percent to $1.87.

iShares MSCI Japan fund (EWJ): An investor bought 3,100 December 13 calls for $0.11 and $0.12, looking for upside into late this year. EWJ rose 0.33 percent to $12.01.

JetBlue (JBLU): More than 2,300 September 11 calls were bought for $1.08 to $1.35 as traders look for the airline stock to keep rising. JBLU rose 2.31 percent to $12.19.
