• INTC 83% Rate It

Computer processor maker Intel Corporation ( INTC ) on Tuesday received some continued bearish commentary from analysts at Nomura Securities.

The firm reiterated its "Reduce" rating on INTC as well as its $22 price target, which suggests a small downside to the stock's Monday closing price of $22.51.

A Nomura analyst commented, "Intel shares have tracked the direction of gross margin over the last decade. And thus far in 2012 that trend has continued. The stock has declined over 20% over the last six months on lower gross margin guidance, among other things. That said, we would not expect gross margin to bottom until Q2-13, and for the full year come in around 59%, below consensus of 62%."

Accordingly, Nomura cut its fourth earnings estimate for INTC from 55 cents to 52 cents per share, and its full-year estimate from $2.00 to $1.85.

Intel shares fell 45 cents, or -2%, in morning trading Tuesday.

Shares of Intel ( INTC ) have a 4.00% dividend yield, based on last night's closing stock price of $22.51. The stock has technical support in the $20 price area. If the shares can firm up, we see overhead resistance around the $25 price levels.
