JAKARTA, Indonesia--Indonesia's manufacturing activity continued to contract in November, due to subdued demand and floods in parts of the country, the latest survey showed Thursday.

The Nikkei Indonesia Manufacturing PMI was at 49.7 in November, below the 50.0 threshold that separates expansion from contraction. The index, however, was up from 48.7 in October, indicating the sector is moving toward stabilization.

Ms. De Lima said manufacturers may be prepared to loosen their pricing policy to secure more work.
