We have made a few key improvements to our Community to give you greater visibility into who is following you and what they’re saying. Specifically, we have upgraded the following:

-        A new and improved “My NASDAQ.”  Major highlights are the Latest Activity stream, which streams activity from everyone in your network (new articles, new connections, new stock ratings), and a notifications panel, which alerts you to important activity such as new followers, new authors, portfolio changes, and more.

-        A “Go Public” feature, which allows you to create a custom web address (vanity URL) for your profile page.  This feature also allows your profile page to be publically visible and found in search engines.

-        Enhanced follower/following detail pages including member search functionality.

I particularly like the “Go Public” feature, which gives you a vanity URL from which your profile is visible to the general public if you desire. In fact, you can see my profile at http://community.nasdaq.com/profile/brucehashim/ . We are pretty proud of these changes and have been strutting, smirking and showing off about it for a week now.
