My 4 Favorite Stocks With Dividend Growth

By
A A A

Within the past week, 20 companies announced a dividend hike. I have the feeling that the number of hikes will go down for a few weeks. I remember times when 70 stocks a week hiked dividends. But I think it's only a span and the number will rise in the future.

The most promising hike was in my view made by Raytheon. The military supplier for the government suffers under the fear of budget cuts. The current hike is a clear statement to investors that they have strong fundamentals and could hike dividends despite potential sales and earnings declines.

Another stock with a wonderful growth announcement was Air Products and Chemicals. The major diversified chemical company will raise dividend payments to shareholders by 10.9%. A reader of my blog asked me recently for my view about the stock. He thought that APD has a great market position in the hydrogen and helium market and could start to boom if prices go up.

Below 20 stocks with dividend growth from last week are 15 with a dividend growth of more than 10%. The average dividend growth amounts to 21.92%. Linked is a full free list of all companies and funds with some price ratios to compare.

Below the results are two High-Yields; eleven companies have a current buy or better rating.
