The gasoline-producing unit at Motiva Enterprises LLC'sPort Arthur, Texas, refinery is running normally after being successfully restarted over the weekend, a person familiar with the refinery's operations said Monday.

The 600,000 barrel-a-day refinery's fluid catalytic cracking unit was taken down for repair early last week after experiencing a malfunction, sources said.

A spokesman for Royal Dutch Shell PLC (RDSA, RDSA.LN, RDSB.LN, RDSB) wasn't immediately available to comment.

Motiva is a joint venture between Shell and the Saudi Arabian Oil Company.
