MidEast Stocks Mixed, Qatar Drops to 3-Wk Low

MidEast shares were mixed, with Qatar falling to a 3-week low on weak Q3 results, Reuters reports.

Also weighing is the fate of an IPO by Qatar Petroleum by year end. Plans to list Doha Global Investment Co, backed by assets from Qatar's sovereign wealth fund, appear to have been postponed indefinitely, Reuters says.

Qatar's main index fell 0.4% to 9,652 points, Saudi Arabia added 0.3% to 8,171 points, Dubai firmed 0.3% to 2,910 points, Abu Dhabi inched up 0.2% to 3,882 points, Egypt edged up 0.09% to 6,171 points, Oman gained 0.3% to 6,668 points, Kuwait rose 0.6 % to 7,954 points and Bahrain added 0.2% to 1,203 points.
