MARKET COMMENT: Charts Tip Singapore's STI To Test 3319 Soon -CIMB

By Dow Jones Business News,  March 11, 2013, 04:24:00 AM EDT

0808 GMT [Dow Jones] STOCK CALL: Singapore's STI is likely to test its 3319 high soon and break it after last week's rise above 3282 eliminated the lower-high, lower-low move, CIMB technical analysis says. "Indicators are also hooking upwards again, suggesting the short-term momentum is on the up." If the index doesn't fall below 3234, it should have one more leg higher beyond 3319, with potential resistance at 3355 and 3443, it says. But it notes a potential triple bearish divergence could be forming. The index is up 0.2% at 3297.26. (leslie.shaffer@dowjones.com)
