Market Close Report: NASDAQ Composite index closes at 3,005.62 down -67.25 points

Friday's session closes with the NASDAQ Composite Index at 3,005.62.
The total shares traded for the NASDAQ was over 2.18 billion shares traded. Declining stocks led advancers by 3.96 to 1 ratio. There were 498 advancers and 1972 decliners for the day. On the NASDAQ Stock Exchange 21 stocks reached a 52 week high and 49 those reaching lows totaled. The NASDAQ 100 index closed down -2.4% for the day; a total of -65.85 points. The current value is 2,678.32. Marvell Technology Group Ltd. ( MRVL ) had the largest percent change down (-14.31%) while SanDisk Corporation ( SNDK ) had the largest percent change gain rising 2.71%.

The Dow Jones index closed down -1.52% for the day; a total of -205.43 points. The current value is 13,343.51. McDonald's Corporation ( MCD ) had the largest percent change down (-4.46%) while Home Depot, Inc. (The) ( HD ) had the largest percent change gain rising .15%.
